The Israel Defence Forces announced the completion of a purification operation in the Tal Tahir ridge, a strategically significant Hezbollah infrastructure position. The military stated that the operation targeted underground and above-ground facilities used by the militant organisation.

According to IDF statements, some militants were neutralised during the operation whilst others escaped the area. The military indicated it is continuing efforts to neutralise remaining threats in the region.

The operation comes hours after Iranian threats directed at Israel, with the IDF maintaining active operations to counter Hezbollah capabilities along the border region.
