The IDF and Shin Bet conducted a joint operation that resulted in the killing of Ibrahim Mustafa Suleiman Abu Oweimer, a commander in Hamas’s military wing. Abu Oweimer was among the terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 attack.
In a separate but related operation, Israeli security forces arrested weapons smugglers in Nablus, continuing efforts to dismantle Hamas infrastructure and prevent further weapon smuggling in the West Bank.
This operation represents ongoing Israeli counterterrorism efforts targeting senior Hamas military leadership responsible for the October 7 attacks and subsequent security threats to Israeli citizens.
