Israeli Defence Force commandos have conducted an extensive operation to clear and contain a Hezbollah terror infrastructure facility in the Ali Tahhar ridge area. The operation involved specialist units working across multiple operational axes over several weeks.

The terrorist organisation had initially attempted to transfer equipment to operatives in the region, but sustained IDF activity altered the tactical situation. Some operatives were eliminated during the operation whilst others managed to escape the encirclement.

According to international reporting, one access point to the facility may remain outside IDF control. The timing of the operation’s release and questions regarding Iranian involvement are under examination.
