This coming Tuesday, the stars of "Big Brother", Talia Ovadia and Shaf Raz will walk down the canopy path and become husband and wife. It will happen in a high-profile wedding that will be held in Rishon LeZion in the concept of Disney movies. Yesterday (Saturday) the couple arrived at the hotel, where they will spend the next two days preparing for the biggest day of their lives. As Shabbat came out, the engaged couple missed a beat, when their wedding was in doubt following the new directives of the Home Front Command, in preparation for the missile attack from Iran which finally ended with almost no damage.
Fortunately for the couple, despite the severe warnings and cancellation of educational frameworks, wedding events are still allowed for up to a thousand guests, and it seems that the missile attack from Iran is probably already behind us. Just before the missile attack from Iran, Talia Ovadia did not skip the regular custom of every bride just before her wedding, and baptized in the mikvah at the end of Shabbat.
At the end of the baptism, she shared the purifying moment and blessed Israel: "When Shabbat came out, you went to be baptized in the mikvah, they say that a woman's prayers after baptism reach very high and tear into the heavens. I wish for all the people of Israel that we will know better days, the cancellation of bad decrees, that the kidnapped and the soldiers will return home in peace, that our enemy will be annihilated and that with God's help we will be redeemed soon. The situation right now is stressful and scary, but remember that the Holy One, blessed be He, is with us and that no one can overpower us."
