Israel to transfer prisoner to Lebanon as goodwill gesture

Breaking

Israel is set to transfer prisoner Malek Al-Ghazi on Thursday through the Al-Naqoura crossing as a gesture of goodwill, according to reports from Saudi channel Al-Hadath.

Al-Ghazi, 20, from the village of Ayn Ata in Rashaya district, reportedly went missing in October 2025. His family later claimed he had been captured by Israel and transferred to Israeli territory.

The transfer represents a diplomatic move between the two countries. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Israeli or Lebanese authorities at this time regarding the prisoner exchange.
