Israeli cruise ship passengers cause diplomatic incident in Greece

Passengers aboard the Crown Iris, an Israeli-operated cruise ship, were forced to relieve themselves in a car park near a monastery and kindergarten on the Greek island of Syros after being denied access to visitor facilities. The incident occurred before the ship was evacuated due to a bomb threat. Greek authorities and local residents expressed outrage at the behaviour, while the cruise company claimed passengers had been informed of the restrictions.
