Israeli security forces have uncovered a major fraud operation targeting the IDF, with multiple suspects arrested on charges of inflating construction contracts, issuing fake fuel invoices, and stealing military fuel. The investigation reveals a coordinated scheme exploiting IDF procurement during operations in Gaza.
Among those charged: Ran Rahmani, a construction company owner suspected of inflating work scope; Alisha Yafrah accused of issuing fictitious fuel invoices for supplies never delivered; and Yosef Abu Ammar suspected of stealing IDF fuel and offering bribes to soldiers. Authorities also seized 600,000 shekels in cash and gold from the home of tax adviser Zaidan Abu Ammar during the investigation.
The fraud ring’s activities highlight vulnerabilities in military supply chains during active operations, prompting security reviews of procurement oversight procedures.
