Two separate incidents of violence were reported Saturday evening across Israel. In Haifa, a man and woman were wounded in a shooting incident on Herzl Street, with both sustaining serious and moderate injuries respectively. The victims were transferred to hospital for medical treatment as Haifa police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the attack, which is suspected to have been criminal in nature.

Separately, a 46-year-old man was moderately wounded in a violence incident on Zhaborinsky Street in Bat Yam. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment at the scene and transported him to Ichilov Hospital.

Both incidents remain under police investigation. The series of violent incidents Saturday evening has prompted security concerns across multiple urban centres.
