Netanyahu’s advisers accused of helping Romanian antisemitic party with political messaging

Breaking

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s advisers Jonathan Urich and Israel Einhorn were reportedly involved in preparing political messages for Romania’s AUR party, whose leaders have been accused of antisemitism and Holocaust denial, according to an investigation by Romanian news site Snoop published on Wednesday.

The investigation was based on leaked WhatsApp correspondence from Urich’s account, showing the two men worked on developing a political programme for the party. This represents a significant international embarrassment for Netanyahu’s government and raises questions about the conduct of senior political advisers.

The revelation comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Netanyahu’s administration and adds to existing controversies surrounding his leadership and that of his closest associates.
