"Opens the pocket": the surprising prize promised by an Israeli businessman to Moroccan players

The Moroccan team stunned the world yesterday, when they defeated Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo 1:0 in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, becoming the first Arab team and the first African team to ever qualify for the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament. This morning (Sunday) Anat Davidov and Gideon Oko spoke on 103FM with Yossi Dahan, the owner of the Alden company, who promised to give ten thousand dollars to each player in the Moroccan national team following the sensational achievement.

"So far I haven't paid anything yet, the money is being counted in steps. I think there is no other word in Hebrew that can explain my joy in this matter. I left Morocco, but Morocco did not leave me. I express my joy by donating to the players of the national team," he said Dahan.
