Investigators from Jerusalem District Police conducted a crime scene reconstruction today with one of three minors arrested in connection with the murder of Binyamin Razi. The investigation remains ongoing, with police continuing to search for additional suspects potentially involved in the killing. Razi’s former partner, a 19-year-old female soldier, is among those detained and is suspected of involvement in the murder alongside her friend Shilat Chota.
The Jerusalem District Court authorised the publication of the female suspect’s name today, however the Public Defender’s Office immediately announced it would petition the Supreme Court for a stay on the publication order. This legal challenge has temporarily halted the release of her identity pending the Supreme Court’s decision.
The case has drawn significant attention in Israel, with police maintaining an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Razi’s death. Authorities have indicated they believe additional individuals may have been involved in the incident, and continue their inquiries accordingly.
