Remember to switch to summer time tonight? This way you will make sure that your gadgets are up to date

Tonight we will sleep an hour less but we will gain another hour of light: the world and with it we will switch to summer time at 2:00, and run the clock forward one hour. Your smartphones and computers should update automatically, but in case they don't, here's what to do.

iPhone and iPads
Enter "Settings" (Settings) and select "General" (General).
Click on date and time (Date @ Time).
Look at the third line "Auto Orientation": turn off the switch, then another line "Local Clock" will appear. Make sure that the city of Jerusalem or Tel Aviv is specified. If another city is listed, change it to Israel. Now activate the automatic direction by clicking once on the switch in the automatic direction line.

Android and tablets
Enter "Settings" and select "General Management". You can also type "hour" in the top search bar.
Click on "date and time".
Make sure that in this line the switch "automatic" or "automatic date and time" is active, and "by time zone based on location" is specified.

Windows system on a computer
Go to "Settings"
Type TIME in the search bar and select "Change the date and time".
Make sure that Jerusalem time is indicated in the first line below the current time.
Make sure the first row switch "Auto time zone setting" is active. If it is off – turn it on with one click.
Make sure that in the second line "automatic time setting" is on, and here too if it is off – turn it on with one click.

Electrical household appliances
Unlike cell phones, tablets and computers, the rest of the home devices do not adjust automatically for the most part. In general, these include water bars, cooking stoves, and other devices. An incorrect clock display can be confusing, and those who use a time direction can make a mistake using it if the time is incorrect. It is recommended to refer to the usage leaflet on how to set the time to summer time. This is usually done by clicking on one of the buttons leading to the settings, and from there clicking on arrows will lead you to the direction of the time.
