Renewable energy: experiential weekends for every family in Arava

We are already at the beginning of June and just before it is too hot to breathe even outside, it is a great time to jump to the southern prairie. During the month of June, the kibbutzim and tourist sites of the Southern Arava invite traveling families to take part in a weekend full of attractions, tours and activities related to renewable energy.

During the June weekends, activities will take place during the (relatively) cool hours of the day. The activities combine wind, water and nature, such as: flying kites in the Samar dunes, a sunrise trip in Timna Park, a visit to the U-Splash water park in Eilat, the sun chef, experiential ecology in Kibbutz Lotan, and more.

The activities, which will start already in the afternoon of Thursday, will start with a sand party and a sunset in the Samar dunes, where the little ones will be able to fly kites. The party will then move on to dinner at the pool. You will start your Friday morning with a sunrise trip in Timna Park, breakfast at Kibbutz Elifaz and hanging out at the pool. Those who wish can also spend their time on an independent trip in the Arava, while the aquatic activity continues to the water park of the Yo Splash Resort Eilot hotel and to finish with dinner at the host kibbutz.

After you eat breakfast on Saturday, you can join in cooking vegetables and baking cookies at the "Sun Chef" and take a guided eco-fun tour including building with soil, a tour of the ecological garden and making a seed ball.
