Russia removes all fuel export restrictions following Trump fuel deal agreement

Breaking

A senior Kremlin official announced that Russia has removed all restrictions on fuel exports following an agreement whereby the United States will purchase diesel from Russia. According to reporting by Axios, President Trump initiated the deal in response to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s refusal to cease attacking Russian energy infrastructure.

Following the agreement, Ukraine launched an attack on an oil refinery in Rostov. Zelenskyy responded angrily to the arrangement, stating: ‘The United States did not…’ (statement incomplete in source material), expressing concern that Ukraine was being used as a negotiating tool.

The development represents a significant shift in US-Russia energy relations and has drawn sharp criticism from the Ukrainian leadership, who view the agreement as undermining their strategic position in the ongoing conflict.
