The IDF announced on Monday that an alert was activated regarding a suspected terrorist infiltration at Avittar settlement in Samaria. Police received a report of a suspicious person identified near the settlement’s perimeter fence.
According to the IDF spokesperson, the suspect was seen running near the settlement, with concerns he may have entered it. The IDF stated it is in continuous contact with residents and security forces in the area as details of the incident are being investigated.
This incident comes as Israeli security forces remain on heightened alert for potential terror organisations operating in dispersed cells across the territories.
