According to Ynet, activists from United Torah Judaism have launched a new voter tracking initiative to circumvent Supreme Court restrictions on real-time vote transmission from polling stations.
The system involves representatives stationed outside polling booths who speak with voters, complete forms documenting voting patterns, and transmit this information to a designated headquarters. The stated purpose is to identify areas with low voter turnout and implement targeted voter mobilisation efforts.
This follows a Supreme Court decision prohibiting polling station representatives from transmitting voting data in real time. The new system operates in a legal grey area, collecting voter information outside polling stations rather than within them.
