Two-month-old baby found unconscious in Beit Shemesh apartment

A two-month-old infant was discovered unconscious in a residential building in Beit Shemesh on Monday. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians from Magen David Adom (Israel’s national ambulance service) provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before transporting the baby to Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem. The child was reported to be in critical condition at the time of transfer. The circumstances surrounding how the infant came to be unconscious remain unclear, and it is understood that investigations are ongoing into the incident.
