13-year-old boy dies after being struck by car in central Israel

A 13-year-old boy has died following a car accident in Baqa al-Gharbiyya, a town in the Sharon region of central Israel. The teenager, named as Aved Saeed Wattir, sustained severe injuries when he was struck by a vehicle in the incident. Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported him to hospital whilst performing resuscitation procedures during the journey. However, despite the efforts of medical staff, doctors were ultimately unable to save his life and he was pronounced dead upon arrival or shortly thereafter. The circumstances surrounding the accident are not yet clear, and investigations into the incident are understood to be ongoing.
