Debris from a drone intercepted by Ukrainian forces has been discovered in a Romanian agricultural field close to the country’s border with Ukraine. The fragments were located on Sunday in a field near the village of Priprybtsi, according to Romania’s Defence Ministry. No property damage was reported in the incident. The discovery highlights the ongoing risks posed by military operations in the region, with debris regularly crossing into neighbouring countries as Ukrainian air defences engage incoming threats. Romania, a NATO member state, has previously expressed concerns about stray ordnance and military debris landing on its territory during the Ukraine conflict.
