IDF investigates food poisoning at army base affecting dozens of recruits

Parents of female soldiers claim approximately ten recruits fell ill after consuming meat dishes at Nietzanim base during Rosh Hashanah celebrations. Despite symptoms including vomiting and diarrhoea, affected soldiers received minimal medical attention and were allegedly pressured to continue guard duties. The IDF stated nine soldiers were affected and denied claims of contaminated food, though parents reported inadequate care and dismissive treatment until they intervened.
