The locust landed in the Madbarium. 50 items of desert locusts arrived at the Beer Shevai Animal Park in preparation for Passover. They eat grass and green herbs, and have to live in a living space where it is 30 degrees or higher – so the temperature of the compound is heated accordingly. Since it is not possible to keep a large amount of locusts in one display, in the "Madbarium" we built a display of mirrors around them, so that you get the feeling of a "locust attack".
