After fifteen minutes, Erdogan returned to his chair, apologized and said that he had developed a stomach bug. "Yesterday and today was hard work. That's probably why I got sick," Erdoğan noted. Sources who were on the air said that the Turkish president's face looked tired and his eyes looked teary while he spoke.
As I recall, the 69-year-old president announced that he will run for president for the last time in next month's elections.
