Four Georgian citizens, in their 30s, were detained in the last day at the airport in the Netherlands after trying to fly to Israel via the Netherlands, while entering details of Israeli passports in the digital check-in process.
All four were refused entry to Israel during the past year, and in the check conducted on them at the airport, not a single Israeli passport or document was found in their possession. Also, a preliminary check carried out in Israel revealed that the four passports indeed belonged to Israeli citizens, but two of them had passed away. The matter was transferred to the investigation of the relevant factors.
It will also be clarified that the group did not arrive in Israel and was already delayed at the airport in the Netherlands. When the four were asked to present the Israeli passports with which they had checked in, it turned out that they did not have them.
