Noa Kirel is probably the most talked about and disguised name in the last two weeks in every possible media. That's how it is when you give a phenomenal performance in front of 200 million viewers and come third and respectable in the Eurovision final (and regardless, you're Noa Kirel, that's probably enough to get people talking about you non-stop). And here, just a moment after she returned from a short vacation in Greece with good friends after the intense period in her life, Kirel marked another and particularly surprising destination today.
Perhaps the biggest star in the country, arrived today together with her parents Amir and Ilana , her brother Niv and the close manager Roberto Ben Shoshan , for a personal meeting with none other than Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara , to talk about the special experience she had and the feelings now that everything is over.
During the emotional conversation, Kirel told the Netanyahu couple about the sense of mission she had been traveling with during the past two weeks when she said: "I felt that I had a part that glues the whole delegation together. So I always have to transmit good energy and confidence. Even after very long days of rehearsals, it was important for me to lift morale and to always have a smile on your face." She added that she felt a real need to represent the country in front of the whole world: I couldn't believe that I, little Noa from Ra'anana, was going to walk with the Israeli flag in front of 200 million viewers.
The prime minister made sure to joke with the star about the famous sentence from her song when he told her: "Let me tell you something, you don't wanna see me dance. Defenitily". His wife surprised everyone when she said that the two of them stayed up until the wee hours of the night to watch the results and cheer her on from afar and made sure to compliment her on the peak fitness she is in now.
However, not everything sparkles in the glamorous experience and Noa told the Netanyahu couple that going through such an intense experience and returning home at the end creates a kind of descent. TMI trust Noa and her clearly illogical schedule, that she will know how to recover from any stress drop of one kind or another, because in the end it is a piece of unicorn.
